Lucky Boys

So Mom found that great deal on pavers. New and 75% less than buying them at Lowes.
Fantastic!
Oh wait.
We have to pick them up...
All 400 of them at the guys house.
In the dudes backyard.


No way would the truck take that in one trip.

And there is the little issue of how we would load and unload the things.
 Mom is restricted still to 25 pounds.
Dad wasn't allowed to help. (Moms orders ) and I have child sized hands.. Two at a time is what I can grab..
I know this because Mike and I did the horrid task back in Reno.
Forget it... Not worth it.
And the boys would be working the whole time here... and where is the fun in that?
No hard labor for you!

So it's back to a concrete slab. The easiest solution, and they said if they can do it tomorrow they would knock $80.00 off the price.. and do all the work!
Not so fast...
Dad hasn't quite grasped the idea of someone else doing the work, so today we set out to level the ground.. moving piles of landscape rock...



We have to move how much?

Mom and I did what we could to help, but you know Dad.. 
Hates that he is too weak to do it all himself. Insisted on doing a lot a major part of the work.
But I think its ready, and a new patio awaits!
He has also worked for days where the little lawn is going, that is ready to be seeded!



That yard is going to look great!
