Fathers Day Mike

My has a few things to say also.

Looking at pictures of dad.

So there are the older ones back in Utah with all of us kids as kids and or as babies Pop it seems was always more the one behind the camera not in front of it. Although he want not afraid of it either. He’s there standing proudly with us kids or in the more candid shots teaching us of helping us clean fish or put up a tent or just playing with us.

There is a black and white of Dad Mom Matt Chris Chowby and myself at the beach right about the time we moved to California we are grouped in front of the modest silver Nissan truck Mon and Dad had bought to try and star to new life with the last of the equity they had in the house Pop had built and had just walked away from…. Something that would have thrown some people into depression but there’s Dad smiling looking into a new life with the baggage of three pre teen boys and a dog. I remember the day a few months he and Mom called us together and asked how we liked living in California. The three of us all said we loved it and they said good we do to, but there is no turning back the bank took possession of the house in Utah. That was the closest thing to regret we saw.
Funny too, Dad used that silver truck for years and years when it came time to replace it,although short on cash He gave his truck to someone who needed it.

Then comes the newer pictures. Kinda funny, Rhones 40th birthday.

Oh that’s a cute pick of Dad..

Oh yeah in Rome.

This one is so cute of he and Mom.. in Pompeii.

Sitting on a fountain reading a map in Paris. Not so much posing in front of some over-glorified tourist attraction but mostly the pictures are in the down to earth heart of the city. Just like Dad down to earth and in the heart of it all.
